Our one of a kind textiles are just that: one of a kind treasures. Each Indigo Mudcloth Cover has it’s own unique design and pattern that is 100% your own.
Each mudcloth pillow is made from authentic mudcloth from the West African nation of Mali. In Bambara, the native language of Mali, the cloth is known as bogolanfini, meaning earth or mud with cloth. The cloth is a handmade Malian organic cotton fabric that is dyed using a process of fermented mud from the Niger river that dates back to the 12th century. To learn more about the process, please visit our Dayo page. Each of these patterns tells a story of the maker using symbols passed on from generation to generation.
Disclaimer: These artisan products are handmade and each piece is unique, so there may be slight variations in colour or pattern from what is pictured. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at email@example.com.
